Yesterday I arrived back home in Germany after being an AuPair for the Barnes Family in Australia for eight months. It was very hard to say goodybe to them all because I had such a wonderful time. Their home became my home and those six people became my second family. As my hostparents are only ten years older than I am, we became good friends and I\’m sure that I will see them again soon. I was helping them before and after the birth of their fourth child who is now very special to me as I\’ve been there from the beginning. Seeing him and his siblings grow and learn new things was amazing. A special thank you to Leah who patiently answered all my questions before and while I decided to apply. I\’m sure that God brought me and my hostfamily together for a reason and I\’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity I had. I learnt so much, especially from my hostparents, I grew a lot as a person and I fell in love with Australia. The only question that is left now, is whether I get a certificate or another document which proves that I\’ve been an AuPair in Australia. Thank you so much for giving girls from around the world the opportunity to do something like that. All the best, Anna from Germany
